The Safe House
She told you the house would keep you safe.
She lied.
Esther is safe in the house. For sixteen years, she and her mother have lived off the grid, protected from the dangers of the outside world. For sixteen years, Esther has never seen another single soul.
Until today.
Today there’s a man outside the house. A man who knows Esther’s name, and who proves that her mother’s claims about the outside world are false. A man who is telling Esther that she’s been living a lie.
Is her mother keeping Esther safe – or keeping her prisoner?

Gillian Rose 4 days agoThis is my first PH book and I LOVED it. Really appreciated Louise’s comments throughout. 5* review will appear somewhere. Only niggle - and I may have missed it as I was reading so quickly - is why Tom agreed to lie to help Adam. Did he really think Adam was Ned?Reply to Gillian Rose

Roslyn Lindsay 4 days agoThank you to Louise and PH for the opportunity to read this book. Enjoyed it so much and I am really sad it's finished. Loved the ending as Esther begins to inhabit her own skin with her own ideas for her future. 5* review to follow.Reply to Roslyn Lindsay
