In the nine days leading up to The Museum of Cathy’s physical launch with Salt publishing, The Pigeonhole will be digitally serialising the book and packing its margins with extra content.

The Museum of Cathy is set over a single evening in Berlin’s natural history museum, when a former lover re-appears in Cathy’s life and tries to drag her back into a world she’s escaped from. The novel is about how objects can house our memories, and while writing I collected a physical version of Cathy’s memory-museum: toy soldiers, animal skulls, pinned moon moths, human teeth, doodled-on maps of Berlin, photographs of Essex marsh birds and much more.
