About the author

Sanjida Kay is the author of three psychological thrillers, Bone by Bone (longlisted for a CWA Steel Dagger Award, nominated as one of the best crime and thriller books of the year by the Guardian and the Sunday Express and named as an Amazon Rising Star), and The Stolen Child; all three are published by Corvus Books. She lives in Bristol, with her husband and daughter.

Sanjida Kay has a PhD in chimpanzees and has had ten books published, both novels and works of non-fiction. She wrote features and columns for national newspapers and magazines about science and the environment, directed science documentaries and also presents wildlife programmes for the BBC

Sanjida’s second psychological thriller, The Stolen Child, is out now. Both thrillers are available on Audible as audiobooks. The Stolen Child has been optioned for film rights and is being published in Poland.

Sanjida lives in Bristol with her husband, Jaimie, and her daughter.
