Three generations of women experience love, loss and conflict in times of war.
Echo Hall is the tale of three different women, against the backdrop of three different wars. It follows the fortunes of women who became involved with the Flint family, the owners of Echo Hall.
Although Elsie, Ruth and Rachel's stories are set in different time periods, the reverberations of a family conflict dating back to 1911 are felt in each.
Echo Hall is a novel about the past, but it is also very much a novel of the now. Does history always have to repeat itself, or can we find another way?
- An intelligently layered story, with many interwoven strands
- A myriad of rich historical settings
- This novel is packed with suspense and intrigue
