The Voice That Twists The Knife

I am the voice in your head coming to twist the knife in the darkness. You took everything from me. I will take it back.

Bella is weak; Bella is injured; Bella is scarred. And with a list of enemies growing ever longer, Bella is in more danger than ever before. But Bella is not broken.

She may have lost her empire, her daughter, even her beauty… but Bella has evolved far beyond the child abandoned for being defective; the naïve teenager balancing on a tightrope of deadly desire; the terrified mother who ran and hid.

Bella is her own best weapon. She is the voice; she is the knife and she is coming for the man who took everything from her. She is coming to take it back.

But what will Bella’s determination for revenge cost her? And what other dangers has it blinded her to?

The Voice that Twists the Knife is the thrilling conclusion to the Take Her Back trilogy, following The Child Left in the Dark and Bridport Prize long-listee The Girl with the Green Eyes.

As you read you will see round purple icons at the edge of certain paragraphs – tap on these to reveal behind-the-scenes extra content!
